The hot cocoa truck had a long line of eager children accompanied by casual adults. The bedazzled cement truck, which may as well be Santa’s sleigh it’s so glorious, was parked in front of the scene. Geo and his three friends each got a cocoa, and within minutes of a frenzied excitement to drink it, all four hot cocoas spilled dramatically on the pavement. We had to keep getting back on line, systematically and then sopping up oodles of whip cream, while picking up the mini marshmallows so unfit for the trash.

The children were bearded with cocoa by the time we reached the train museum, which stunned and awed them. Here before them tinkers along a universe so small and intricate, they are like giants deeply interested in this ornate and fascinating world.
Sagittarius Season is so special with its revving of spirit and unhinged enthusiasm. Our town is big on Christmas lights, with more than a few houses going ‘all out’ in decor.
I think it’s funny that this season transitions into the sober tone of Capricorn just days before Christmas. But then again, I have an amalgam of memories that remind me of what happens.
Just like the boys before the train universe, it becomes impeccably clear that that reality really is more magical than we take it for. It’s real. And we are far bigger than we think. We are as giants looking into an intricate and fascinating world.
It’s a sobering realization because you get to thinking- gosh, I have to remember this!
