The Power of Elevated Emotions for Well-Being

I’ve been listening to a few interviews with Dr. Joe Dispenza lately. For those that don’t know him, he talks largely about the power we have to bring coherence into our systems by aligning the language of our minds (thoughts) with the language of our bodies (feelings). One thing he emphasizes in this quest for coherence, is the importance of elevated emotions.

Elevated emotions are warm. They are the emotions of joy, appreciation, love, confidence etc.

From my perspective (anchored in toroscope philosophy), warm emotions are a direct connection to the wider reaches of the cosmos, which have the capacity to stabilize a person from these vast distances as well as a most quantum root. This is because the fire of the cosmos, of the sun and stars, is the same stuff as the fire of our intentions, our willing, and the warmth we summon through elevated emotion. A bright and elevated substance is at both the farthest out and most infinitesimally inward place. It stabilizes a person in a kind of homecoming, a reminder and a recognition of true identity and belonging.

Plasma, once called “radiant matter” makes up 99.999 percent of the universe. In 1928, chemist Irving Langmuir noticed the way this electrified fluid carried electrons, ions and impurities. It reminded him of the way blood plasma carried red and white corpuscles as well as germs.

Isn’t it interesting that an elevated emotion such as appreciation or joy clears the plasma of stress hormones such as cortisol? Isn’t it also interesting that the hormone of trust and social bonding, oxytocin, circulates our bodies by means of this electrified liquid highway?Plasma also carries cytokines that can overwhelm the immune system in large amounts. Studies have shown cytokines clearing up under the influence of mind-body exercises like meditation.

I ran a plasma experiment the other day when I couldn’t shake a pesky headache. I awoke in the night with it still there and decided to cleanse my own plasma by elevating my emotions. I reflected on my day, the sunny bleachers where I sat talking with other parents as our kids were deep into ninja turtle play at the skate park. I felt gratitude for how much I enjoyed our talk, how happy I felt to see Geo bounce around the park, how warm the sun felt on my back on this bright fall day. I even basked in reflecting upon how much I loved the fall colors on my friend’s scarf and sweater. The appreciation flowed on and on, without any effort to muster it.

I fell asleep… and the elevated emotions continued in dream form! I had a particularly warm and happy dream. I told it to Geo when I woke up (headache-free!). I said “You’ll never believe what I dreamed. I dreamed that we were wearing Christmas pajamas and watching Christmas movies while drinking hot cocoa!”

His response tickled me.

“Ohhhhhh myyyy GOD!!!” he gasped with a fixed and serious look, as if I had solved the world’s energy crisis.

He made sure that we prioritized reproducing my dream. Later that day, in snuggly jams, with hot cocoa we watched Christmas cartoons. The after-effects of elevated emotions just kept coming, with real and luminous momentum.

We watched Pluto’s Christmas Tree (1952) a long time favorite of mine!

What a pleasant phenomenon it is to let a chain of good moods carry you from one thing to the next. It becomes obvious that there is immense power in a mood. And then a strange wave of gratitude comes over me when I realize how much influence I  have over my inner environment, my private home, my lunar inner life.

It’s not just about good moods. They may be near impossible for some to generate in certain circumstances. Elevated emotions come also in the form of moving ahead despite being scared, of summoning the fire of courage, of collecting oneself, of a feeling of integrity and a willingness to learn.

Think what the warmth of another does for you, especially in times when you could really use it. Now think about how you do the same thing for yourself. When you elevate your own emotions, your body sighs with relief, shakes off the stress, and smiles from the inside.

Elevated emotions can have signature styles, contact me for a nature reading to know more.

I’m gonna try this the next time I get a headache (which happens a lot thanks to computers!)

And now I wanna look more into plasma. I forget about that one and it’s crazy to think it’s 99.999% of the universe! What IS it!?

Looking forward to hanging out soon!! – curt

I know! I recently heard the term ‘virtual photons’ – I think plasma seems like this!
