Elvis Presley’s Astrological Portrait: A Capricorn’s Charismatic Journey

Elvis said “Values are like fingerprints, nobody’s are the same, but you leave them all over everything you do.”

With a loaded second house (the house that represents value) full of ambitious Capricorn energy, it is clear to see that he was born with a lot of morally empowered ‘can do’ resources.

In the toroscope, we place Venus at the center, because she is the building energy that turns experience into concrete meaning on which to rely as she strengthens a sense of self. Elvis’s classic and upright Venus in Capricorn is conjunct the north node, suggestive of a sense of destiny in crystalizing his charm into something everlasting. Capricorn grows stronger with striving. His family was poor in money but not in love and support. He quickly found meaning in the gospel music and the all-night gospel sings and began building his ambitions.

But what’s this? Pluto, the kundalini hip-swiveling archetype is directly opposite in the 8th house of taboo! Not only this but Jupiter, the periphery of the toroscope, thus, the enormous resource of fiery enthusiasm and belief is in Scorpio as well! There is no getting around it, you can keep the camera on his face but those hips are gonna break out and swivel!

The thing about values is that they work well with ideals, a very Piscean concept. Elvis’ Moon is glimmering with the enchantment of the sea. His far spaced apart eyes gives away his part-fish, oceanic make up. His divine voice reminds one of the far away world of dreams and ideals.

Neptune is at the highest place in the chart too, as he aspires towards nothing short of divinity itself, reflected bedazzingly in his wardrobe choices later on (and with his Sagittarius rising ‘go big or go home’ persona).

Mars is also high, in the charming sign of Libra. His masculinity was best expressed in such charm. Just imagine him singing without that side smile that continously escapes!

Uranus, the planet of foresight is in Aries. From his subjective and imaginative ego (the Moon in Pisces) he was able to connect to his future with bold initiative.

Saturn in Aquarius near his Moon brought an innovative energy to his character and a commitment to his originality. With his north node in Aquarius, he was indeed born to innovate and shake things up.

The toroscope sees the chart as an energy field. In physics, energy is defined as ‘the ability to do work”.

But one must answer in allegiance to their own conscience in order to know what work to do. Thus, values are indeed a centrifugal force of nature. As one’s ability grows there becomes more opportunity to provide value to others and the world we live in. Nature is productive.
